My colleagues have interesting definitions of “compact” cars...and acceptable parking in general.

Isn’t the Leaf compact tho?

The EPA also has an interesting definition of compact :p

Do you not see how amazing of a person they are for driving a Leaf? You should be thanking them!

Yeah the Leaf I would probably consider a compact. The early-2000s Toyota Camry that usually parks next to me? Not so much.

But that Camry is the size of a current compact car, isn't it?

nah brah. nah. it literally squeezes in between the lines when it’s parked correctly. no room to open doors if another Camry were parked beside it.

What about the 2014 Tundra Platinum that I stick in compact spots?

put some small spikes on the middle of the back edge of your doors. Kind of like a saw blade, but positioned just so that they are hidden inside your door while it’s closed, but stick back just enough to wreck the edge of their car when you slam your door into theirs “accidentally”.

Okay, don’t - I hate that I had this brilliant evil idea and I would be mad if you did it to me. But still. Camry != compact.

If it fits, you sits I guess. Just make sure it fits.

You should definitely park in the spot to the left of that leaf. So close that there’s no possible way for them to open the drivers door, let alone squeeze in between the cars.

I could fit that thing in a dog house as long as I am backing in. Pulling in is another story.

Since you live in Colorado, please be sure to remind him that his electric car is in fact, powered by coal. Although, personally, having a coal fired car would be a big selling point.
